Be careful what you say.

Don’t know but it seems everything you say is considered racist, politically incorrect or violent language. Even saying that  someone who is obviously  lying is in denial is now considered  violent language,  no accusations allowed even if true. Words like that in older generations would have been dealt with by shrugging and ignoring  The only violent language I know of is one that reflects a physical threat. Surviving a Violent Assault is a mindset

Although some skills are necessary to survive a physical assault, it is just as important to place your life first before the attacker’s. Remember that you did not initiate the situation, yet it is helpful if you are prepared to do whatever is necessary to avoid serious injury to yourself.

Having said that, some knowledge of improvised weapons can be quite helpful. Think in simple terms. What is the goal?  The goal is to survive. Objects such as pencils, pens and keys can be used to strike at throat, eyes, temple, etc. they can also be used to strike at limbs. Rocks make excellent beaters. Dirt or sand as well as drinks thrown at the face can facilitate your escape.

The ABC’s of Survival

A is for awareness. Staying alert to possible threats. Don’t be foolish and think that you can do and go where you want and ignore a possible violent encounter.
B is for body language. Hopefully you know what a victim profile is like. Head down. Clutching possessions. Don’t do that. Walk with purpose. Scan left right and center. This will help deter an attack.

C is for countermeasures. These you will have to learn. There are a number of self defense courses offered however most do not deal with reality based assaults. Choose carefully. Question always the reasoning behind the solutions to violent situations. Your life may depend on it.
